Services and Support

At The Royal Canadian Legion, we believe in the power of people working together. We are one of Canada’s largest Veteran support and community service organization. We endeavour to make a difference in the lives of Veterans, members and their families; to support our communities and our country, and to always remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

We have added a page that contains links that may be found useful for Veterans, current serving military and our legion members.

Community Outreach

Our work at the community level includes outreach and assistance programs for Veterans and their families, fundraising to support essential community services, offering supports for seniors and families in need, organizing commemorative ceremonies and promoting Remembrance, and more. In times of local or regional crisis, we are there to support those who have been adversely affected by an emergency.

Support for Cadets

As part of our commitment to our communities, we are involved in developing youth leadership at the local and national level. Canada’s youth play a crucial role in the growth of our communities and in continuing the tradition of Remembrance. The Royal Canadian Legion has a long and valued partnership with Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers (JCR). Cadets and JCR engage in varied and unique experiences and develop competencies in leadership, citizenship, and physical and mental fitness.
